It was actually a pretty good day out there in the regular Sunday kickabout. I had missed the last one, but this one brought a couple of pleasant surprises. Well, I had a bit of a hard time getting into a winning team. But eventually I did manage to help with a couple of wins. But it's a bit hard when I've been out for a little while. The loss of stamina and pace was very clear, not that I'm a very quick person or anything like that.

But it was all good fun out there. So fun, in fact, I fell asleep later. Well, I didn't actually fall asleep so much as just let my eyes take a longer rest than they were meant to. And yes, you sort of hurt my head there with that little rap on it. Can't you see I'm tired and resting?

But well, whatever.

I'll be good as new again soon. I promise you guys that.

Damn, it's happening again.

I'm feeling a certain hollowing out deep inside. The kind I felt before when I got myself burnt.

This is not the way it's supposed to be. I'm not supposed to get myself burnt again.

Long periods of being voluntarily frozen and sealed in ice, punctuated and overturned by a sudden burst of long-latent fire.

This is not good.

I need to leave. If only for a while. But I cannot.

You guys needed me. Now I need you guys.

And I'm sorry. Truly, deeply, regrettably.
